This story was told to me by one of my best friends years ago. Before she passed in 1989 she told it to me as I sat by her bedside and held her hand as she said good night, see you in the morning then passed from time into eternity. I pray this story bless you the way it has blessed me down through the years.

God's Garden is not really a place where flowers grow. It is a place where people grow. It is where all of us are right now. We are always in this garden from the time we are born until the time we die. Hopefully in life we will grow in the right direction and that direction is toward God. We are all here for the same reason. We are on our way home to God. Sometimes on this trip home we will grow slowly like a flower. Other times we will have to sprout and grow wings like a bird in order to fly there. Either way it will be a rough journey and growing is usually a pretty painful process.
